Despite the disappointment of her first career loss, her fight against the two-time IBF world champion was seen as a valuable learning experience.
The Nigerian champion had been making waves in the light-heavyweight division, and this setback is expected to serve as motivation for her future efforts.
Daniels, 36, maintains her title as the IBF women's light heavyweight champion, cementing her place at the top of the division, particularly on home turf in New Zealand.
