Super Falcons defender, Michelle Alozie, affirms that she currently has no intentions of leaving the United States' National Women's Soccer League team, Houston Dash, for a stint in Europe.
The 26-year-old defender had a remarkable performance for the club in 2023, netting three goals in 16 appearances. She played a crucial role for Nigeria during the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where the Falcons reached the round of 16 but were eliminated on penalties by England.
Despite her outstanding form for both club and country, the defender remains focused and eagerly anticipates Houston Dash's upcoming challenges in the NWSL.
"I'm completely dedicated to the upcoming season with the Houston Dash, and I'm genuinely thrilled about it. That's my primary focus for now. As for other future events, we'll just have to wait and see. Right now, my attention is solely on the NWSL," Alozie expressed during Asisat Oshoala's all-star event in Lagos.
Houston Dash concluded the 2023 regular season in 10th place, amassing 26 points from 22 games. Since joining the team in 2021, Alozie has netted six goals in 31 appearances.
