OpenAI CEI denies sister’s rape allegations, calls claims untrue

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, an artificial intelligence company, vehemently denied his sister's rape allegations in a recent lawsuit.

On January 6, Ann Altman filed lawsuits in Missouri, USA, alleging that her brother sexually assaulted her on several occasions between 1997 and 2006. When she was three years old and her brother was twelve, the alleged abuse began.

According to the lawsuit, some of the alleged abuse occurred while Sam Altman was an adult and his sister was still under the age of 18, and the damages sought exceed $75,000. Ann Altman has made similar statements on social media before.

Sam Altman is an important person in the technology industry. The well-known AI chatbot ChatGPT was created by his company OpenAI and debuted in late 2022.

If the lawsuit proceeds to trial, a jury will hear it. The case was filed in the Eastern District of the United States District Court in Missouri.

Since the age of 17, Sam Altman has publicly identified as "homosexual." He is currently committed to Oliver Mulherin, an Australian software engineer.

Prior to dating Mulherin, Altman had a nine-year romantic relationship with Nick Sivo, a co-founder of their startup Loopt.

In response to the allegations, Sam Altman, his mother, and two siblings issued a joint statement saying, "All of these claims are completely false."

The family added, "Caring for a family member who has mental health issues is extremely difficult. This situation causes tremendous pain for our entire family."
