2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Lesotho Coach Notsi Considering Bringing Back Veteran Players for Up
Lesotho's head coach, Leslie Notsi, is planning to bring back several experienced players for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Benin Republic.
Likuena will face Nigeria in their first match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Thursday, November 16. Subsequently, they will host Benin Republic at the Moses Mahbida Stadium five days later.
A statement on the official Facebook page of the Lesotho Football Federation has announced, "Exciting new additions to the final squad will be disclosed in the coming days, featuring players who haven't represented Likuena in the past two years." Notsi is set to unveil his squad later this week.
