You are political scavenger, Dino blasts Fani-Kayode

Senator Dino Melaye, a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign in 2023, has stated that the PDP has no position to offer former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode on the party’s campaign team.

Melaye stated this on his verified Facebook page on Sunday night, referring to the former minister as a “political scavenger.”

“My attention has just been drawn to a statement issued by Femi Fani-Kayode, which, as usual, was incoherent gibberish produced by his temporary relief from insanity,” he said. How else can one explain his fleeting awareness of reacting to an interview long granted, unless his world of reality is out of sync with the world of sound minds? His remark was, at best, a concoction of deception, a lack of comprehension, and an excursion into meddlesomeness and idleness.

“Truly, the devil’s residence is an idle hand and heart like FFK’s.” Normally, his rambling would have been ignored, but in this age of unrestricted media access, even by unwholesome minds, care must be taken to place issues in the proper context and perspective. The roller-coaster FFK is merely looking for attention, having tried and failed to be recruited by the People’s Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.”

Melaye stated that Fani-Kayode had approached Timi Frank in an attempt to secure a position on the Atiku-Okowa campaign team.

“He did contact Timi Frank to help lobby for a job in the Campaign Directorate, but where is the record to support his desire?” As a serial hustler around food dispensers, FFK’s foray into the PDP leadership race is nothing more than a subtle campaign to be noticed and rewarded by prospective paymasters.

“Nigerians will never forget how FFK bootlicked and cajoled Yahaya Bello during his presidential experiment, but later jumped on the presidential train of Senator Ahmed Lawan in the midst of the All Progressives Congress presidential primary election in an unabashed and unconscionable manner.” He’s found the PDP as the access card to his next meal now that campaign structures have been formed by parties and he’s been sidelined, having lost face everywhere,” he said.

Melaye stated that Iyorchia Ayu was backed by PDP governors and party members, and thus emerged as the PDP’s National Working Committee Chairman by consensus, owing to his reputation and political profile.

“Is FFK so deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafening Has he not recovered sufficiently from the doses given to him during his rehabilitation to comprehend that governors and other leaders supported delegates from all states at the National Convention? Is he equating Judges’ sound minds with his own reprobate mind threatening to go to court over a matter for which he has neither locus nor reasonable cause?

“When the issue of FFK comes up, I quickly recall ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s long-standing analysis of his personality, and his assertion that food is FFK’s price.” His likes are accurately described in Philippians 3:19 as “those whose god is their belly, and whose glory is their shame.” PDP does not cater to the lazy. And, given FFK’s penchant for political scavenging, let me ask him the unanswered question. “Who funded your statement, FFK?”
