Tinubu Appoints Barikor and Ambgare as Heads of NESREA and NDRBDA

President Bola Tinubu has given the green light for the appointment of new leaders at the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA) and the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA).

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, issued a statement on Friday announcing Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the new Director General of NESREA and Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director of NDRBDA.

Barikor, a scholar and politician, served in the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015. Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and a former commissioner in Bayelsa State.

The President called on Barikor and Amgbare to carry out their responsibilities with unwavering loyalty to the nation, ensuring the highest levels of professionalism, accountability, and outstanding service to the people of Nigeria.
