Ogun Grants Official Cars to Newly Appointed Permanent Secretaries
Lagos Governor fulfills commitment to workers' welfare, presents new cars to Permanent Secretaries and Auditor-General"
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has delivered on his promise to prioritize the welfare of workers by gifting brand new cars to recently appointed Permanent Secretaries and the Auditor-General in the Civil Service. The presentation took place at the Government House in Isale-Igbein, Abeokuta, with the aim of boosting their morale and enhancing service delivery.
Represented by the Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, Governor Abiodun highlighted that this gesture was intended to improve mobility and increase productivity. He further assured the workers and the entire citizenry of his dedication to their well-being, promising to bring the benefits of democracy to every corner of the state.
Governor Abiodun urged the recipients of the car gifts to persist in their efforts, enhance their value, and strengthen their leadership qualities to contribute to the growth of the service.
"I appeal to the Permanent Secretaries and the entire Civil Service to uphold their support for our government in our shared vision of 'Building Our Future Together.' Let us unite in our efforts to propel the state forward," he stated.
Representing the recipients, Dr. (Mrs.) Olayinka Elemide of the Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Mrs. Oluwatosin Oloko of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Mr. Adesoji Adewuyi of the Bureau of State Pensions expressed their gratitude to the Governor for the kind gesture. They assured him of their unwavering commitment to upholding the reputation and progress of the state.
The recipients pledged to exert their utmost efforts to ensure that the state's flag continues to soar high.
