TotalEnergies appoints new executive director
Mrs. Bunmi Popoola-Mordi has been appointed to the position of executive director by the Board of Directors of TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc.
Mr. Jean-Phillip Torres, the company's board chairman, disclosed this in a statement.
According to him, Popoola-Mordi's appointment as executive director of human resources and corporate services began on April 1.
Her career has included, among others, legal practice, banking, human resource management, industrial relations, communication, corporate governance, investor relations, and public relations.
She holds multiple advanced degrees in law as well as an MBA in oil and gas management.
Popoola-Mordi holds a bachelor's degree in law, is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
In 2011, she joined TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc as legal affairs manager/company secretary. In 2015, she was promoted to general manager in charge of human resources and corporate services while continuing to serve as company secretary.
In 2019, she was named executive general manager of Total Country Services.
