Internet users in Nigeria rose to 154m in Q4 2022

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria's internet users will reach 154.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2022.

This was revealed by the bureau in its most recent statistics, which was issued on Saturday.

The rise represented a 9.07 percent increase from 141,971,560 in the fourth quarter of 2021.


It also stated that the number of active voice users increased by 13.87 percent in Q4 2022 to "222,571,568 from 195,463,898 reported in Q4 2021."

However, the bureau reported that voice subscriptions increased by 4.89 percent quarter over quarter.

According to NBS, "Lagos State had the highest number of active voice subscribers during the review period, with 26,460,877, while Bayelsa had the lowest, with 1,571,692."
