Speaking during the inauguration of the MCC/Old Express Road in Aba, Otti emphasized his government's commitment to constructing high-quality roads to boost trade and commercial activities. The governor highlighted the importance of well-maintained roads for economic development and called on investors to take advantage of the opportunities in the state. Otti expressed the government's dedication to creating a conducive environment for businesses and supporting sustainable investments. He also addressed initiatives to address flooding issues and reconstruct economically significant roads in various local government areas. The President of the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Chief Jerry Kalu, commended the government's efforts, while the Director of China Civil Engineering Construction Company expressed gratitude for the successful completion of the road project. The Commissioner for Works emphasized the administration's commitment to improving the state's road network and infrastructure. The governor officially inaugurated the Udeagbala and Umuimo roads during the event.
