Russian strike kills two, injures 15 in Ukraine

Russian airstrike on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Saturday killed two persons and injured 15, according to regional governor Oleg Synegubov.

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, lies near to the Russian border and has been severely damaged in multiple attacks.
In May, Russia launched a new attack in the Kharkiv region, gaining the most territory in the previous 18 months.

Synegubov said on Telegram that Russian military "hit a residential building with guided bombs" on Saturday afternoon.

"According to first reports from emergency medics, two people were killed. The number of wounded from the occupiers' strikes has grown to 15," Synegubov stated.
