Mohbad passed away without leaving a will, according to the management

The management of the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has refuted assertions that the singer had a will. The management clarified that the artist passed away without formalizing any document outlining the distribution of his assets. In a recent interview with TVC, Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, expressed surprise upon learning about the alleged will, stating that, as a father, he had never considered creating such a document for himself.

A 26-year-old boy creating a will? Absolutely not! They had to conspire with the lawyer to manipulate various inappropriate actions," asserted Aloba. He further contended that the will contained a thumbprint instead of a signature, insinuating that the thumbprints were affixed posthumously. Aloba remarked, "Mohbad was not the type to use his thumbprint; he would rather sign. Since he had passed away, they had to involve a lawyer to carry out their manipulations.

I couldn't believe it. He doesn't thumbprint; he should sign. Even as his father, I wouldn't consider thumbprinting. I have my signature, and he has his own. Just because they couldn't trace him, they used his hand to thumbprint many things there."

Contrary to claims made by Mohbad's father, the late singer's management issued a statement on Monday through his Instagram page, dismissing the assertion as "false and misleading." The statement went on to address updates and clarify certain truths to prevent the persistence of misconceptions and miscommunication.

The Police Authorities have completed an investigation, revealing that the autopsy results from samples sent abroad will take several months before being disclosed.

Neither Mohbad's management nor his lawyer has conveyed the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document, as recently inaccurately reported, to any family member or the public. It is asserted that, if such a document existed, it would have been officially registered with the Probate Registry. Therefore, everyone is urged to refrain from spreading false and misleading statements.

All accounts owned and managed by Imole during his lifetime were immediately subjected to a Post No Debit order on September 12, 2023. This order remains in effect to date. Upon the resolution of the internal dispute, these accounts will be appropriately handed over to the family.
