Jubilation as Atiku wins Adamawa polling unit
On Saturday, voters at the Ajiya Ward, Ibrahim Attah Road Polling Unit, 012 of Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate, celebrated the former vice president's victory.
Atiku received 282 votes out of the 350 total votes cast, placing him second, third, and fourth, respectively, behind Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Tinubu of the APC received 57 votes, while Obi and Kwankwaso of the Labour Party received six and one vote, respectively.
Four of the 350 votes cast were ruled invalid.
Shortly after the results were announced, chants of Sai Waziri filled the air as supporters, clearly pleased with the outcome, sang and danced their way in various directions.
