Governor Radda offers condolences to families affected by the road crash

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State extends his condolences to the families affected by the tragic accident involving the state’s transport authority vehicle (KTSTA). The governor conveyed his sympathies through a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibrahim Kaula.

The incident occurred on Friday and involved an 18-seater KTSTA bus traveling from their office in Kankara Local Government Area to Abuja. Governor Radda attributes the accident to ongoing repairs on the Kaduna/Abuja highway, with construction work necessitating traffic diversion and heavy machinery placement.

Tragically, seven lives, including two children and the bus driver, were lost in the accident. Governor Radda expresses deep sympathy, standing in solidarity with the bereaved families and the people of the state during this difficult time.

He prays for solace for the departed souls and beseeches the Almighty to grant them Jannatul Firdaus. Governor Radda reaffirms the state government's commitment to citizen safety and vows to work diligently to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.

Additionally, he urges the people of the state to unite and support one another in these challenging times. Governor Radda also extends condolences to Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, on the passing of his Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy, Malam Isa Gusau. He expresses deep sympathy, stating that the loss is keenly felt, and their thoughts are with the Borno State Government and the departed's family.
