There will be a total of seven new divisions created under the Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

According to our correspondent, the command currently oversees 11 divisions spread out across the state.

According to a news release provided to journalists by the public relations officer, DSC Buhari Sa'ad, Commandant Achir Abraham's responsibility during the inauguration of a seven-person commission included the establishment of seven divisions.

Imam Deji, the deputy commandant of the corps, chairs the committee, while AC Onyeke Emmanuel, SC Yuguda Abdulrasheed, SC Muhammed I. Daniya, and DSC Adah S. Mogomya serve as members. DSC Buhari Saad serves as secretary.

Abraham encouraged the committee to construct an outpost where it is impossible to create a separation, adding that it was crucial to guarantee the protection of people and property in Gombe State.
