Adesanya Prepares Zuckerberg for Upcoming Showdown Against Musk

Israel Adesanya, the Nigerian-born mixed martial arts champion, took to Twitter to share pictures of his training sessions with Mark Zuckerberg, the US tech billionaire. This training comes in anticipation of a potential cage match between Zuckerberg, the head of Meta (owner of Facebook and Instagram), and his rival Elon Musk, the South African-born entrepreneur who now leads Twitter.

In a lighthearted remark on Thursday, Adesanya stated, "We both have South Africans to deal with," accompanied by four photos of their joint training sessions. The 33-year-old fighter, who relocated to New Zealand during his childhood, is set to face South African opponent Dricus du Plessis in an upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight fight scheduled for September.

According to media reports, Adesanya made his way to Zuckerberg's residence in northern California on Saturday to commence their training sessions.

Last month, Mark Zuckerberg, 39, and Elon Musk, 52, agreed to their cage match through social media. While the exact date of the fight is still to be confirmed, the two tech moguls are currently engaged in another battle, with Meta recently unveiling an alternative to Twitter just last week.
