Portable Claims Mohbad's Death Resulted from His Betrayal

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, alleges that the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, met his demise at the hands of enemies associated with Malian Records. According to Portable, Mohbad's death is attributed to betrayal, claiming that despite being nurtured and supported by Marlian Music, Mohbad turned his back on them.

The Zazuu crooner asserts that Mohbad accused the label of not showing him love, leading to his departure. Portable suggests that Mohbad's association with rivals ultimately resulted in his untimely death, with those responsible intending to implicate Naira Marley.

Expressing his views on Instagram, Portable states, “Mohbad was killed because he was a betrayer. We help these young artists and make them blow, but they repay us with evil. After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley."

He further claims, "Those ones then killed him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped Mohbad out of a good heart but he betrayed him.”
