Nollywood Veteran Actor Ogunjimi Passes Away
The Nigerian film industry is once again in mourning following the announcement of the death of another veteran Yoruba actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi, widely known as Ogunjimi. The news surfaced on social media on Friday.
The announcement of Ogunjimi's passing came from Yoruba actor Kunle Afod, who shared the sad news on his Instagram page.
In his post mourning Ogunjimi, Afod wrote, “We did our best, but God loves you more.”
“May his soul rest in peace. Rest in peace, Baba Ogunjimi. Sun re oooo.”
As of the time of this report, the cause of death has not yet been determined.
