FG approves construction of Oloibiri Oil for N117bn

The Federal Executive Council approved a N117 billion contract for the construction of the Oloibiri Oil Museum and Research Center on Wednesday.

This was revealed by Timipre Sylva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, at the Presidential Villa after the conclusion of the FEC meeting chaired by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).

The contract was awarded to Julius Berger Plc, according to the minister, with a completion date of 30 months.

Concerning fuel scarcity, Sylva stated that the factors causing the product scarcity are beyond the Ministry's control.

He did, however, state that the Federal Government is working to resolve the country's chronic fuel scarcity.
