Jandor Lays Out Three Conditions for a Meeting with Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu to Take Place

The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has outlined specific conditions that must be met in order to engage in a discussion with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.

Following the affirmation of Sanwo-Olu's election as the legitimate governor of Lagos State by the Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, Jandor and the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, had their petitions dismissed.

Governor Sanwo-Olu responded to the judgment by extending an invitation to Adediran and Rhodes-Vivour, urging them to collaborate with him in serving the people of the state. He expressed his willingness to sit down with both candidates and discuss their ideas for the state's development.

However, Jandor has stipulated specific conditions for accepting the governor's invitation. According to the PDP gubernatorial candidate:

  1. Governor Sanwo-Olu must publicly disclose his original 1981 WAEC certificate, given that he had declared under oath in his INEC form EC9 that he took the GCE O level examination in that year.

  1. The governor must make a statewide broadcast to the residents of Lagos, providing an explanation for the discrepancies in the names on his WAEC result presented to INEC and the ones appearing on the 1981 Master list submitted by WAEC during the tribunal proceedings. This is despite both records having the same examination number, year, and examination centers but differing names.

  1. Governor Sanwo-Olu needs to clarify why he instructed his lawyers to oppose the application for a forensic audit of the WAEC backend server for further verification.

Jandor expressed his readiness to accept the governor's invitation if these conditions are met, emphasizing the importance of upholding integrity and accountability, especially among public servants. He conveyed these conditions via his official Twitter handle, @officialjandor.
