Gunfire occurred at Lifecamp Government Secondary School in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, where three students were reportedly shot by individuals armed with guns. A credible source, revealing this information to our correspondent, indicated that the incident occurred on Thursday within the school premises.
The occurrence transpired just 500 meters from the residence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
According to the source, gun violence has become an annual recurrence at the school.
He expressed concern, stating, "Troublesome individuals entered the school with firearms, resulting in the shooting of three students, and the police arrived late.
"I urge you to bring attention to this matter; such incidents should not be taking place in the center of Abuja involving young individuals, and yet, there is a lack of action or discourse. It appears to be an annual trend where something tragic happens at that school."
"Blood everywhere, parents crying like babies.
"Lifecamp Government Secondary School is directly opposite Lifecamp Police Station and approximately 500 meters from the FCT Minister's residence. This is a repetition of yesterday's events. It's becoming a regular occurrence."
