Indomie is set to pay tribute to courageous children

Dufil Prima Foods Limited, the manufacturer of Indomie instant noodles, has announced the commencement of entries for the renowned CSR program, the Indomie Heroes Awards.

According to a statement released by the brand, this initiative, which was launched in 2008, aims to identify and acknowledge the exceptional acts of heroism displayed by children aged 15 and below.

The 2023 edition of the awards will showcase a collection of captivating and inspiring stories from various states across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.

Temitope Ashiwaju, the Group Public Relations and Events Manager of Dufil Prima Foods, expressed the company's primary objective of consistently bringing unsung young heroes into the spotlight through this initiative.

He stated, "Genuine heroes are regular individuals who perform extraordinary deeds. They don't rehearse or prepare for such moments, yet they step up when courage is required, answering the call with bravery."

"As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Indomie Heroes Awards, we eagerly anticipate receiving submissions highlighting the inspiring stories of real-life heroes from all over Nigeria. These individuals have demonstrated acts of heroism in various forms and deserve public recognition, appreciation, and celebration for their selfless deeds."

The awards ceremony will acknowledge and honor winners in three distinct categories: physical bravery, social bravery, and intellectual bravery.

As per the company's statement, every deserving recipient will be granted a scholarship valued at millions of Naira.

The deadline for entries to be submitted is August 15, 2023.
