Arsenal Legend Advocates for Gunners to Sign Victor Osimhen

Arsenal legend Sol Campbell believes that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could play a pivotal role in helping Arsenal contend for the Premier League title this season. Campbell expressed concern about the goal-scoring contributions from Arsenal's attacking-minded players, such as Leandro Trossard, Eddie Nketiah, and Gabriel Jesus, who have collectively scored 14 goals in all competitions.

Despite Arsenal's current position of 3rd in the league table with 27 points in 12 games, Campbell thinks they need a striker capable of scoring 20 to 25 Premier League goals per season to compete favorably for the title. He identifies Victor Osimhen as the ideal candidate, citing Osimhen's impressive performance with Napoli, where he contributed to their Scudetto win by scoring 26 goals and providing five assists.

While Osimhen is Campbell's preferred choice, he also mentions Brentford's Ivan Toney as another potential option for Arsenal. Campbell suggests that Arsenal should assess their options and, if the right striker becomes available, consider making a move either during the Christmas period or in the upcoming season. He emphasizes the importance of finding a striker who can unlock tight games, create opportunities, and relieve pressure on the team.
