Rema Reveals Insights into Allegations of Joining the Illuminati
Rema, the Nigerian singer, has responded to the viral rumors linking him to the Illuminati. In a post on his official Instagram stories, Rema denied any connection with the secret society and urged his fan base, known as Ravers, to educate new fans about his background and heritage.
The 'Calm Down' crooner dismissed Illuminati reports, describing them as trash and expressing his allegiance to Jesus as the king. Rema emphasized that he works hard to create music that glorifies positive and supernatural forces.
In his statement, Rema said, "Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat shit for a long time. You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc."
He continued, "As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. It is why I do interviews. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Dead it now. Jesus is King."
In addition to addressing the Illuminati rumors, Rema recently met Rwandan President Paul Kagame at the presidential palace in Kigali. He attended the 2023 Trace Music Awards in Kigali, where he won the Global African Artist of the Year and Song of the Year with 'Calm Down.' Rema expressed his sense of belonging in Rwanda and his appreciation for the country during his visit with President Kagame.
