In the subsequent sets, the Egyptian team displayed dominance, defeating Nigeria 25-18 points in the second set and 25-15 points in the third set.
Commenting after the match, the silver medallist from the 2003 All African Games acknowledged that the team's loss was due to a lapse in concentration. However, they expressed the intention to enhance their performance in the upcoming game against Cameroon today.
He remarked, "It's essential for us to reassess and strategize for our upcoming match against Cameroon. The girls faced a setback due to a lack of concentration. These young players are being developed for future endeavors, and I have confidence they will perform well in the next game."
On the other hand, Mamr Makhlouif, the coach of Egypt's U-17 girls, expressed the team's ambition to secure the trophy in Nigeria. He stated, "Our goal is to represent Africa at the U17 World Championship, and we're here to accomplish that objective.
