Jay Jay Okocha endorses Messi as greatest footballer of all time

Nigerian football legend Jay Jay Okocha has joined the ongoing debate over who is the greatest footballer of all time: Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

For nearly two decades, Messi and Ronaldo have dominated discussions about football greatness, with Messi winning eight Ballon d'Or awards and Ronaldo winning five.

In a recent interview with Pulse Fun Facts, Okocha said that both players are good, but Messi is the best.

He clarified: "They are both GOATs but my personal GOAT is Messi because he looks more natural to me."

Okocha's illustrious career lasted from 1990 to 2012, during which time he became known for his dazzling abilities. His time in England, particularly with Bolton Wanderers, earned him the nickname'so good they named him twice.' His support for Messi adds a personal touch to the long-running debate, which also includes contributions from other football legends such as Paul Scholes.

Scholes, who played alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United from 2003 to 2009, has also spoken out, claiming that Messi still has the advantage over Ronaldo.
