Alibaba suggests that a woman's contribution doesn't necessarily have to be in the form of money

Renowned Nigerian comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, commonly known as Alibaba, emphasizes that the inquiry "what do you bring to the table" should extend beyond financial aspects. Alibaba counsels women not to take offense if their partners ask about their contributions.

He emphasized that getting upset is unnecessary, highlighting that, contrary to popular belief, money is not the sole contribution a woman can provide.

Illustrating with an example involving his friend, Alibaba showcased how connections can be a valuable asset in a relationship. He recounted how his friend, who had been arrested, was quickly released due to his wife's influential connections.

Alibaba pointed out that qualities like money management, respect, and understanding can take precedence over love in certain relationships, using these attributes as examples of what individuals can bring to the table.

Additionally, he shared a personal anecdote about his father, revealing that they had a ten-year-long fallout because he chose a career in comedy instead of pursuing law as his father wished. Alibaba recalled leaving university to inform his father of his decision, but his father's reaction led him to leave home. Determined to succeed as a comedian and prove his father wrong, he pursued his chosen path.
