Again, Tapswap postpones token allocation

The token distribution to users has been delayed until the third quarter of the year, according to Tapswap, a well-known tap-2-earn app powered by TONNE Blockchain.

The app, which required users to continuously tap the icon in the middle of the Telegram Tapswap bot screen in order to mine coins, gained popularity recently among Nigerians who were tapping their phone screens in an attempt to make money. Since its February 15, 2024 launch, the app has accumulated over 50 million users.

The share-to-token exchange event that was originally set for July 1st has been rescheduled for the third quarter, according to the management, in an effort to better serve gamers.

The management said it is in active discussions with tier 1 exchanges worldwide to price the highly ranked game from the prey of scammers and leaders in the web3 industry who are moved by the successes the game had attracted in a series of threads posted on X on Monday to share what it described as "bad and good news" for its players.

We've chosen to reschedule the Shares-to-Token exchange event, which is both incredibly excellent and bad news for you at the same time. What's so good about that, you ask? FUD only?

"Not precisely. You will gain from this, and that is the main idea. Let we clarify how:

There's been a lot of talk lately concerning Tapswap, particularly with their placement on tier 1 exchanges, a significant decline, and other things. And it should come as no surprise that the initiative has risen to the top and is now one of the main actors in the world. Leaders in the web3 sector are drawn to this kind of attention as well as crooks.

Thus, not all rumours are untrue. In fact, tier-1 exchanges and the Tapswap team are in active negotiations!

And they are ecstatic about you, our community! Is this not the goal that the two of us have been slavishly pursuing together?

The management went on to stress that it will focus intently on the task at hand, which calls for much more thorough study on tokenomics and an appropriate launch plan.

That success does, however, come with a few "inconveniences." Much more thorough work on tokenomics and an appropriate launch plan are needed for this level of attention. That also implies more time.

It went on, "But know that all of this is to make sure that our launch in Q3 is equitable and, more importantly, profitable for all of you who stick with us through thick and thin."

But Tapswap charged its players to enjoy the good news when it comes and to thank them for their support and input.

As a result, there are many reasons to be pleased with this shift. We will soon share with you even more exciting news on the drop itself, our tier 1 alliances, and our future plans!

We are grateful for your support. Please feel free to leave comments with your thoughts, as we genuinely appreciate hearing from you. We'll keep going farther and farther together!

The July 1st intended token launch by Tapswap had been postponed indefinitely.

On June 20, 2024, John Robbin, the gaming company's head of communications, made this revelation.

It had previously declared that July 1st will be the day of its coin allocation after it was unable to set a date in May due to an excessive number of bot accounts, which it is attempting to separate from the real players.

Robbin emphasises that communication between the processes cannot occur prior to the allocation, stating that the technique of token allocation has not yet been determined.

The July 1 launch of the token was rescheduled. The revised date will be announced.

"A large portion of the tokens will be distributed to the community in order to keep the tappers. We want everyone to feel connected to the tapswap community.

To be mutually beneficial, a token airdrop is required. We have commenced communication through numerous venues and exchanges," he stated.

Young and old in Nigeria have been compulsively tapping on their phones; some claim they are waiting for the tokens to be distributed so they may utilise the numerous taps they have accumulated to purchase the automobiles and homes of their dreams.

In a widely shared video, a Keke driver was seen operating his moving car and carrying passengers while using one hand to tap away on his phone.

A different widely shared video featured multiple traders in Northern Nigeria tapping ferociously on their screens.
