Super Falcons have landed in Pretoria ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifiers

The Super Falcons from Nigeria have touched down in Pretoria for the crucial return leg of the final Paris 2024 Olympic qualifying round against South Africa's Bayana Bayana. As per the team's media officer, Oluchi Tobechukwu, the squad arrived at Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, this morning. Later in the evening, they will undergo training in preparation for the game scheduled for Tuesday.

Tobechukwu, on her Facebook page, mentioned that the team has settled in and is eagerly anticipating the upcoming game.

"We've arrived in Pretoria and settled into our residence at the Maslow Time Square. Our official training session will take place later tonight," she wrote.

Nigeria requires a win or draw to secure the Paris 2024 Olympic ticket after missing out on the last three editions. Falcons secured a lone-goal victory in the first leg of the fixture on Friday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The victor of the tie automatically secures a spot at the Olympics. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM South Africa time (6:30 PM Nigeria time).
