Super Falcons captain Ebi conveys a farewell message to Naija Ratels
Having secured a move abroad, Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi has written a heartfelt farewell message to her former club, Naija Ratels. Ebi conveyed her gratitude to the Nigeria Women’s Football League side for their role in helping her achieve her goals. The 40-year-old defender recently joined Israeli Women’s Premier League side Bnot Netanya.
She participated in three NWFL games for Naija Ratels.
"I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to my Ratels family, Naija Ratels FC, for the love, support, respect, honor, and comfort," she shared on her social media handle.
"I could continue mentioning them, and it wouldn't end. To the President, Barr Paul Edeh, I extend my personal thanks for accepting me and aiding in the achievement of my goals. I thank Almighty God for using you. You all have demonstrated to me what true love, respect, unity, and happiness mean within a team. Even as I embark on a new chapter of my story and career, I want to affirm that Naija Ratels FC will always be my home. God bless Naija Ratels FC."
