Stanley Nwabali, goalkeeper for Chippa United, emerged as the hero in the penalty shoot-out, securing his club's spot in the Nedbank Cup semi-final. Nwakali's exceptional performance led Chippa United to a 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy, maintaining a clean sheet throughout the match. Despite facing a penalty against them while leading 1-0, Chippa prevailed.
However, Nwabali, showcasing skills reminiscent of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, exhibited his agility once more, thwarting Pogiso Sanoka's attempt from the penalty spot.
Chippa United extended their lead further with Roscoe Heinrich converting a stoppage-time penalty.
