Lazio confirm Dele-Bashiru signing

Lazio have finalized the acquisition of Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Hatayspor on a season-long loan, with the obligation to buy if he impresses.

The 23-year-old, who starred in the Turkish Super Lig last season, scoring nine goals and giving six assists, passed his physical in Rome on Friday and finished the paperwork on Saturday, kicking off his Serie A career.

The Manchester City academy graduate, who formerly played for Sheffield Wednesday, expressed his delight at the move, saying he hopes to make an impression at the Stadio Olimpico.
