School projects receive generous donations from alumni worth millions of naira

In commemoration of their 25th anniversary, the 1998 alumni of Unity High School (UHS), Oshodi, has undertaken a renovation project for various infrastructural facilities within the school, valued at approximately N10 million.

Hope Ramsey, the president, stated that the initiative aimed to distinguish the school as a unique institution among others in the region and the state. The projects encompassed the replacement of PVC ceilings in four classrooms, the painting and demarcation of the school hall, the installation of four marker boards, and the replacement of windows, and doors, as well as louver blades for laboratories.

She mentioned that the initial phase had been completed and affirmed the group's dedication to finishing the remaining projects.

"We are deeply committed to creating a conducive learning environment for students. We aim to spare them the challenges we faced during our time."

The representative of the school principal, Olaleye Olusegun, expressed gratitude to the former students for their benevolence and urged stakeholders to collaborate with the government in enhancing the education sector.
