Fuji artist Saheed Osupa has expressed his grief on social media over the passing of the late singer Mohbad. Mohbad, who passed away on Monday, September 10, 2023, was laid to rest in the Ikorodu area of Lagos on Wednesday. In his message of condolences to the singer's family, the 54-year-old artist lamented the tragic loss of a young talent and how it deeply affected him.

Too painful to witness the sudden death of a young promising rising star @iammohbad. May Almighty God grant him an eternal rest, and give his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss,” he captioned his Wednesday post.

Mohbad’s family on Tuesday released a statement confirming his death.
