Prince Harry's legal challenge against the UK government regarding security costs has been unsuccess

On Wednesday, Prince Harry experienced defeat in a legal dispute against the UK government regarding a decision to alter the extent of his personal security during his visits to the country.

In February 2020, Harry initiated legal proceedings against the government after being informed that he would no longer receive the "same level" of publicly-funded protection while in Britain.

High Court judge Peter Lane affirmed the legal validity of the "customized" process established for the claimant in the decision dated February 28, 2020, stating in his 52-page judgment.
