Oyebanji swears in new permanent secretaries
The governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has mandated that state employees adhere to ethics, openness, and caution while also fostering collaboration in their job.Oyebanji encouraged the four newly appointed permanent secretaries to embrace innovation and technology in their official roles and to make sure they brought "creativity, compassion and vigour to bear on their job as permanent secretaries" during his speech in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
Mrs. Funke Ajibola, Mr. Michael Boluade, Mr. Foluso Akinwumi, and Mr. Rotimi Akomolede are the new permanent secretaries.
The governor stated, "You must see yourselves as both managers of human and material resources of government." He asked the permanent secretaries to uphold the terms of their appointments by always doing their best.
"Therefore, especially in this day and age, you have to be dedicated to integrity, openness, and wisdom," he stated. It will be expected of you as HR managers to promote a culture of cooperation, self-assurance, and group accountability.

"This administration will be in office for two years in a few months, so we need to operate more quickly than we have." For their ministries, departments, and agencies, all permanent secretaries must thereby double up and quicken the pace of service delivery in order to meet the government's shared prosperity agenda.
Sunday Komolafe, Head of Service, complimented the governor for his many welfare packages for government servants, which have improved the lives of workers in the state, and he thanked Oyebanji for allowing him to serve.
Speaking on behalf of the newly appointed permanent secretaries, Boluade thanked the governor for the appointment and gave his word that they will continue to work towards the state's development.
