Orban is expected to move to Lyon from Gent in January
Nigerian striker Gift Orban is said to have inked a deal with French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon.
While Lyon and Gent have maintained confidentiality about the transfer, Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed on his official handle that the deal is valued at €13m.
He also revealed that Orban, presently playing for the Belgian team Gent, will extend his contract until June 2028.
Orban became part of Gent in January 2023 and managed to score 15 goals in 16 league appearances.
In the ongoing season, he has netted three goals in 17 league games for Gent.
