Eid-el-Fitri: Pray for Nigeria, Akpabio tells Muslims

Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, congratulated Muslim faithful on Eid-el-Fitri and urged them to pray for national unity.

This was stated in a congratulatory message from his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, in Abuja.

As the faithful celebrate Sallah, the former governor urged them to continue praying and working for the country's unity.

He said, "As you celebrate the end of Ramadan and Eid-el-Fitri, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on behalf of my family, constituents, the 10th Senate, and the entire National Assembly.

"I hope this joyous occasion brings you peace, happiness, and spiritual renewal. May Allah's blessings be on you and your loved ones. As we celebrate, let us remember the values of compassion, kindness, and generosity that embody the spirit of Ramadan.

"May we continue to uphold these values in our daily lives and work to strengthen our unity. Once again, I wish you all a joyous and blessed Eid al-Fitri."
