Atiku wins Kaduna with 554360 votes
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate, was declared the winner of Saturday's presidential election in Kaduna State.
Atiku received 554,360 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, who received 399,293 votes to finish second, and Labour Party's Peter Obi received 294,494 votes to finish third.
But Obi won in Chikun, Kaura, Kajuru, Jaba, Kachia, Jema'a, and Zango-Kataf Local Government Areas, while Tinubu won in troubled Birnin-Gwari and Sanga LGA, where the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, is from.
Giwa, Kauru, Lere, Ikara, Kagarko, Zaria, Sabon-Gari, Makarfi, Kaduna South, Kudan, Igabi, Kaduna North, Kubau, and Soba were among the 14 LGAs won by Atiku.
