Sony launches pyramid game show in Nigeria
Sony Pictures Television Entertainment has introduced "The Pyramid Game Show Nigeria," an internationally acclaimed game show, marking a notable milestone as it makes its debut in Africa.
This Nigerian adaptation of "The Pyramid Game Show" is part of the Sony Pictures Television Entertainment franchise and is produced by Mekdoss International, tailored for the Nigerian audience.
The event took place recently in Lagos on a Tuesday and was attended by diplomats, executives from Sony Pictures Television Entertainment, brand representatives, and various stakeholders.
In this word-based game, two teams will compete, each consisting of a celebrity and a contestant. Celebrities will assist the contestants in their quest to win 10 million naira on each weekly episode.
Martin Gbados, the CEO of Mekdoss International, emphasized that the motivation behind introducing "The Pyramid Game Show" to Nigeria is rooted in the show's dedication to community engagement and generating value for the companies that endorse this initiative.
