Eniola Ajao Explains Bobrisky's 'Best Dressed Female' Award
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Eniola Ajao clarifies the reason behind awarding popular crossdresser Bobrisky the "Best Dressed Female" accolade at the recent premiere of her movie, 'Ajakaju'. Ajao addressed the controversy surrounding Bobrisky's win during a recent interview with Arise TV, stating that the award was part of a stunt.
She explained, "It was all in jest. Our aim was to generate buzz around the movie. My team and I felt it needed to be prominent. So, we chose to give the Best Dressed Female award to Bobrisky, given his penchant for controversy. Although it sparked discussion, some were displeased. Criticisms were directed at Femi Adebayo, who merely presented the award. It wasn't his concept, and he wasn't among the judges. Nigerians should refrain from condemning him, please."
