A Nigerian musician was fatally shot in the United States

Osazuwa Agbonayinma, also known as Zuwa, a Nigerian singer based in the United States, has been tragically shot dead. The specifics of the circumstances leading to his death remain unclear.

His father, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former Nigerian lawmaker, confirmed to Entertainment News on Channels Television that his son, the late singer, was fatally shot in the back of the head on Sunday.

The deceased singer held a master’s degree in Architecture.

He, along with his brother Eghosa, established the duo Roze and launched several songs, notably the critically acclaimed 'Ileke' in 2020.

In November 2022, Slami Ifeanyi, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and former Mr. Universe, was allegedly fatally shot by unidentified gunmen in Anambra State.

A circulating video on social media depicted the lifeless body of the singer hanging from a car, surrounded by a pool of blood.

The artist, reportedly driving solo in his Lexus, was ambushed and fatally attacked at Umubere in Akwa, the state capital.

It was further learned that the singer had recently acquired the Lexus, and his unfortunate demise occurred shortly after obtaining the vehicle.
