How I Managed to Escape a Burning Car – Arm Wrestling Boss
Samuel Jackson, the President of the Arm Wrestling Federation of Nigeria, shared how he narrowly avoided death when his car caught fire in Abuja.
Jackson said the incident occurred just a few minutes after he stopped to buy fuel at a filling station while on his way to a meeting in Abuja.
The federation chief said that after refueling, he drove back onto the road but noticed that his car wasn't moving at the usual speed before it caught fire.
"I want to thank God for His mercy because everything happened so fast," he said.
"I stopped at a filling station to buy fuel since I was heading to a meeting, and I noticed the car wasn't moving as it should. So, I decided to pull over. The moment I parked, the car caught fire, and I was trapped inside. Thankfully, we managed to open the door, but the bonnet wouldn't open, which is why the car completely burned down.
"I'm at home now and doing well, but I'm still amazed at how quickly everything unfolded."
