EPL: Ian Wright sympathizes with Chelsea star, describing him as nervous

Arsenal icon Ian Wright expresses empathy for Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson, suggesting that the Senegal international appears nervous. Neville adds that Jackson seems apprehensive and is currently not at the level required to lead Chelsea. Additionally, Wright criticizes Mykhailo Mudryk for his underwhelming start at the Blues.

Nicolas Jackson, who joined the west London Premier League club from La Liga's Villarreal for the 2023-24 season, has exhibited a lack of composure and consistency despite scoring seven goals in 18 appearances across all competitions under Mauricio Pochettino.

Speaking on the Wrighty's House podcast, Ian Wright expressed sympathy for Jackson, noting, "I feel sorry for Jackson. He is nowhere near the level; you can see it, you can see it. He is nervous, he's scared, he's worried because he's not near it. Mudryk is still playing exactly as I saw in a couple of videos of him, running 100 miles an hour, not slowing down."
