Speaker of Nasarawa calls on the PDP to endorse Governor Sule

Mr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other entities to rally behind Governor Abdullahi Sule in realizing the aspirations of the people.

The Speaker made this plea in response to the Supreme Court's judgment in Abuja on Friday.

It's worth noting that the Supreme Court in Abuja dismissed the appeal filed by Mr. David Ombugadu, the PDP governorship candidate, challenging the victory of Governor Sule of the APC, citing a lack of merit.

He characterized the Supreme Court's decision validating Sule's election as a triumph for the people of Nasarawa State.

Applauding the Apex Court, Jatau stated that the verdict distinctly reflected the mandate bestowed upon Sule by the electorate during the state's general election.

He commended the governor's legal team for effectively presenting their case.

"I urge all citizens of the state, regardless of political, religious, and ethnic differences, to rally behind and collaborate with the governor in fulfilling his mandate," Jatau declared.

Offering congratulations to Governor Sule, the APC, and the citizens of the state on their triumph, the Speaker assured that the 7th state assembly under his leadership would provide unwavering support to ensure the governor's success.

He affirmed the assembly's commitment to enacting laws and adopting resolutions aimed at benefiting the people of the state. Additionally, he encouraged residents to adhere to the law and show respect for constituted authorities.
