Sam Adeyemi: Transforming Nigeria Takes More Than Four or Eight Years

Renowned Nigerian clergyman, Sam Adeyemi, emphasized that no politician can transform Nigeria within four or eight years. Speaking on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, Adeyemi, who leads Daystar Christian Center, stressed the need for discussions on the type of leadership Nigerians desire. He suggested that engaging in conversations about Nigerians' aspirations would provide guidance for the activities of the country's leaders. Adeyemi called for a starting point in discussions among Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of agreeing on the nation's goals and values. He recalled the need for such dialogues, pointing out that the country had spent billions in 2014 but lacked the courage to continue those discussions. Adeyemi concluded that effective leadership should originate from the people, urging politicians to contribute their part during their tenure and then pass the responsibility to others, acknowledging the impossibility of transforming Nigeria within four or eight years.
