Rangers FC initiates the screening process for youth teams in Enugu

Rangers have finalized arrangements to conduct a screening exercise for the formation of their U-13, U-15, and U-17 teams. The club's General Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, disclosed this information in Enugu on Thursday. Ezeaku emphasized that the creation of these developmental teams is in line with his commitment to establish a fully operational youth team for the club.

The screening event is scheduled to occur at the Rangers training pitch on January 30, 2024. Rangers will be part of the inaugural Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) youth league.

The Flying Antelopes find themselves in Group E alongside Abia Warriors, Heartland, and Enyimba. The competition comprises twenty teams divided into five groups, each consisting of four teams.

Commencing on February 1, 2024, the competition will unfold across various venues.
