APC suspends Kebbi gov’s aide for intimidating guests with snake

The All Progressives Congress, Kebbi State Chapter, has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, with immediate effect.

Alhaji Sa'idu Muhammad-Kimba, the party's state secretary, issued a statement announcing the suspension in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.

He revealed that on February 8, 2025, Sani-Giant brought a snake to the Government House, intimidating dignitaries, statesmen, and officials.

Muhammad-Kimba claimed that the actions could embarrass and discredit the APC.

He also stated that Sani-Giant's actions violated the APC's constitution.

According to him, the party found his behaviour offensive and embarrassing.

"His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated," she said.
