Festive Season: Airhelp Ranks the 10 Least Favorable Airports

The aviation information platform, AirHelp, has unveiled a compilation of the ten least satisfactory airports globally, continuing its commitment to keeping air travelers informed. This roster contrasts with the recently revealed list of the world's top ten airports, predominantly featuring Asian airports. The prevalence of Asian airports at the forefront is unsurprising, given the continent's focus on catering to tourists. To foster a thriving industry, there is a crucial need to nurture and sustain an environment of excellent experiences, robust infrastructure, and cultural richness at airports.

As per AirHelp's rankings, Banjamarsin International Airport in Indonesia has been identified as the least favorable airport for travel, claiming the top spot. Following closely is Malta's Maltese International Airport, securing the second position.

Securing the third spot is the renowned London Gatwick Airport, trailed by Lisbon Delgado in Portugal at the fourth position. The fifth and sixth places are jointly occupied by Belgrade Nikola International Airport in Serbia and Denpasar International Airport in Indonesia. In the seventh and eighth positions stand the Canadian Toronto Pearson International Airport and Sofia Airport in Bulgaria. Wrapping up the rankings are Marseille International Airport in France and Halim International Indonesia, holding the ninth and tenth places, respectively.

The release of this list by AirHelp serves as a valuable resource for travelers planning trips during the festive Christmas season, offering insights into airports to be cautious about during their travels.
