Three English Premier League clubsides jostle for Tosin Adarabioyo’s signature this window

SUPER Eagles hopeful Tosin Adarabioyo is eagerly being sought by at three English Premier League clubsides who are keen to secure his services before the end of the current transfer window as the 2020/21 season gets into full swing.

 

Born in Manchester, Adarabioyo, 22, is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England and although he has already appeared for the England U19 team, he us yet to decide on his senior international future. A Manchester City player, Adarabioyo was on loan to Championship side Blackburn Rovers last season where he has put in impressive performances, attracting the attention of several suitors.

 

With the current season just one week old, Everton, West Ham and Fulham have all expressed an interest in signing Adarabioyo before the transfer window closes on October 16. A quality centreback, Adarabioyo, who came through the Manchester City youth ranks, is six feet five tall and is very comfortable on the ball.

 

He is now eager to play top-flight English football after tasting action in the Championship during back-to-back loan spells with West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers. At the moment, Adarabioyo is way down Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s pecking order of centre backs behind the likes of Aymeric Laporte, Nathan Ake, Nicolas Otamendi, John Stones and Eric Garcia.

 

So far, he has only managed eight appearances for Manchester City in all competitions since making his professional debut in the FA Cup against Chelsea in February 2016. He has been on the books of City since the age of five and his current contract runs out in June 2021.
